Ronald Araujo is nearly sign a new deal with Barcelona next week after the 25-year-old centre-back’s situation quickly turn around.

Barcelona and Ronald Araujo have reach an agreement and the 25-year-old centre-back is nearly sign a new contract with the Blaugrana next week.

The situation around Araujo has taken a โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที dramatic turn in the past week, with the 25-year-old centre-back seemingly on the verge of leaving Barcelona for Juventus, despite Inigo Martinez suffering an injury in the Supercopa de Espana final and keeping him out for around a month.

But after Araujo spoke to coach Hansi Flick and sporting director Anderson Deco, the Uruguayan defender changed his mind and opted to stay with the Catalan giants, with talks over a new contract progressing rapidly.

Barcelona reportedly held talks with the player’s representatives earlier this week and an agreement was reach, with Araujo set to officially sign a new deal next week to replace his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2026, with the player expected to receive a significant pay rise.

As such, securing his contract renewal, at a time when he had less than 18 months left on his deal, comes as a huge boost for Barcelona for the present and the future.

Araujo’s new deal is expect to have a sizeable pay increase for the defender along with a release clause amount that will be reasonable if he decides to move on in the future, instead of the €1 billion figure that previously existed.
