West Ham confirm Algerian winger Said Benrahma Has moved to join the Lyon team on loan until the end of this season. The deal also includes an option for Lyon football to buy him out in the summer.

West Ham’s announcement brings an end to a bizarre 18-hour situation after a deal was not completed by deadline.

Lyon accuses Hammers of ‘incomprehensible behavior’ and said they would take their case to football’s governing body FIFA.ทางเข้า ufabet

The Hammers declined to respond to the allegations. But club officials are also known to be angry at what are seen as inaccurate and potentially damaging claims.

As FIFA had already confirmed the deal. West Ham felt Lyon’s statement was not based on any basis.

In a statement, West Ham said everyone at the club wishes Said the best of luck as he moves to Lyon.

Benrahma, 28, initially joined the Hammers from Brentford on loan in October 2020. Before making the move permanent three months later and his current contract runs until 2026.

He scored the first goal as West Ham defeated Fiorentina 2-1 in the Conference League final last year. This was the club’s first championship in 43 years, but failed to score a goal this season.

Benrahma was sent off in West Ham’s 0-1 FA Cup third round replay against Bristol City in January. And was also cut from the Algerian national team in the Africa Cup of Nations.
